Winemaker

Reinhard has been a driving force in producing exceptional white wines for Domaine Wolf even before the 1196 portfolio was expanded to absorb the Muster.Gamlitz brands and team in 2023.

Over the past decade his winemaking work has contributed to award-winning results, including recognition at the World Championships for Sauvignon Blanc. Since committing to the 1196 project full-time, he has taken on a pivotal role, leading winemaking, vineyard work and overseeing operations on the ground in Styria.

With a deep connection to the craft, Reinhard describes winemaking as both a technical challenge and an art form-a balance he pursues with dedication and expertise.

Winemaker

Manuel joined in 2023 and has worked closely under Reinhard Muster for years to hone his craft and contribute to Muster.Gamlitz, and now 1196's, growing reputation.

Manuel has dedicated himself to every stage of the process, often spending long nights in the cellar to perfect each vintage. With a deep passion for winemaking, Manuel sees each bottle as a reflection of the team's commitment and artistry.

When he's not immersed in his work, he also plays defense for WinzerTeam Österreich eV, Austria's national football team of winemakers, proving his dedication both on and off the field.iption goes here

Partner Red Winemaker

Albert and his team in Burgenland have partnered with 1196 and family Wolf to vinify the red wines for 1196, using grapes from our vineyards in Burgenland.

With deep roots in Austrian winemaking, Albert brings decades of experience and a passion for crafting elegant, balanced reds. Renowned for his meticulous approach and unwavering dedication to quality, his expertise has played a pivotal role in enhancing our Burgenland offerings.

Outside of the cellar, Albert enjoys sharing his knowledge through workshops and tastings, nurturing a deeper appreciation for Austrian red wines.

Weingarten

Gerald joined the team in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience to the vineyards. He helps coordinate vineyard teams and work while lending his expertise and feedback to the work in the cellar, ensuring quality from vine to bottle.

Office/Cellar

Hanna is an essential presence in both the cellar and the office. By balancing hands-on cellar operations with her expanding knowledge of winemaking, she represents the next generation of wine talent. Her meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality ensure that every part of production runs smoothly.

Weingarten

Ewald joined the team in 2024 and has since played a pivotal role in overseeing the meticulous care of our extensive vineyard holdings, spanning numerous hectares. With his hands-on approach, he ensures that each vineyard is cultivated with precision and care.

Office Manager

Alexandra ensures the smooth operation of daily activities and helps to provide a warm welcome to all visitors. Her organizational skills and attention to detail make her an integral part of the team, and her approachable demeanor fosters a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and partners.

Sales Lead

Marcus joined the team in 2023 as part of the Muster.Gamlitz transition, taking charge of sales for 1196 and its growing portfolio of wines and other products.

His approachable expertise and focus on client relationships make him a key figure in driving sales and expanding the winery’s market reach. With a knack for understanding client needs and a talent for presenting the brand’s story, Marcus has helped build strong connections with customers.

Off the clock, he enjoys sampling the products he helps sell, always looking for the perfect pairing to recommend.

Illie-Marian works across the cellar, warehouse, and vineyards, providing invaluable support to a variety of operations. His adaptability and hands-on approach make him a crucial part of the day-to-day team, ensuring smooth workflows across multiple areas.
